Sponsors

Max Factor, the leading global cosmetic brand Max Factor is one of the main sponsors of Fashion Week by Berns since August 2007. The cooperation has developed as the fashion week has matured, and in 2008, the Max Factor Award was initiated to support rising Swedish designers  organise and showcase themselves in a major fashion show. The first winner of this grant was Helena Hörstedt, and her collection was shown on a bigger catwalk for the first time at Berns in January 2008. Max Factor has further strengthened its position as one of Sweden’s primary supporters of its leading domestic fashion brands. The involvement with the Swedish week is an important part of Max Factor’s worldwide commitment to fashion, which includes the Milan Fashion Week.

- It feels fantastic to have Max Factor, with its strong connection to the world of fashion, as one of main sponsors. Max Factor has supported the project since its inception and has helped develop it into the successful event that it is today, comments Keri Ingvarsson, Berns Salonger project leader for the fashion week.

Max Factor is the largest player in the Swedish make-up market and has a long tradition of cooperating with the fashion industry and make-up artists. With this sponsorship, Max Factor has further strengthened its position towards the fashion sector.

- The partnership is entirely in keeping with Max Factor’s domestic and international commitment to fashion in general and the important work of make-up artists in particular. Sweden has many skillful designers and we see this partnership as a medium to further strengthen the fashion week at Berns, says Elisabeth Hagelberg, Swedish Sales & Marketing Director of Max Factor.

Max Factor is a trademark owned by Proctor & Gamble. Scandinavian Cosmetics AB is responsible for sales and marketing of the brand in the Swedish market. Max Factor has a tradition of working together with major international fashion weeks and can be seen, for example, backstage at Milan Fashion Week under
the leadership of the renowned make-up artist Pat McGrath. Max Factor is an important part of
STHLM Fashion Week by Berns, as a sponsor and also in its capacity with regard to being responsible for make-up for several of the displays. Max Factor was founded in 1909 by the then well known make-up artist Max Factor, and has since then been used by countless Hollywood stars and models.

In every big city around the world, there's always one department store that stands head and shoulders above the rest. (It's the place you tell your friends back home about, the place where you'll find all the top brands and a seemingly endless selection of high-quality goods.)

In Stockholm that place is Nordiska Kompaniet, a national institution that continues to be "the great department store" for Stockholmers. It's where you go for everything from the latest fashion to traditional Swedish crystal, or just relax with a glass of wine at the Champagne Bar. So we'd like to warmly invite you to pay us a visit.
